Jewelry boxes are decorative containers for storing your rings, earrings and necklaces. You can organize it with drawers and compartments. If the compartment that holds your rings doesn't have cushioned roll, it can make your rings look a bit jumbled. Make a roll holder to keep all your beautiful things in one place. Insert the band of the ring into the rolled holder so that you can easily see the decorative or stone part.
You can measure the space in your jewelry case where you'd like to store your rings. These dimensions are the measurements of a satin piece.
Select several foam rollers with the same diameter. Then remove the clips from the end of each roller. With a pair large scissors, trim the rollers if they are too long to make them fit into the compartment. The rollers should be placed side-by-side in the ring compartment. Fit the rollers snugly into the compartment. The rollers should not be bursting out but slightly squashed together.
The faux suede should be cut to the same size as the rollers. The faux suede should be wide enough to wrap around a roller with an inch of overlap at the corners. Each roller requires a faux suede piece cut to the same dimensions.
Take the rollers out of the compartment for rings in your jewelry case. Wrap the faux suede around each roller and use fabric glue to adhere it along the seam.
Apply a small amount of glue to the outer surface of the faux-suede along the seam. It along the edge of the piece. Continue with the remaining rollers. Put them next to each other on the satin, so they are pressed together. The rolls of satin will slightly press together when placed on the bottom surface of the ring compartment. This resistance is felt by pressing a ringband between the two.
Put the roller and satin combination in the compartment for rings of your jewellery box. You are now ready to sort your rings.
